This map is a complementary map beside all you other city maps and travel guides about Cluj-Napoca. It’s not the official information, sometimes rather subjective, but it has been compiled by a group of people living and loving this beautiful city. It aims to give you
the alternative information, the insider’s tips and a young mind’s perspective on the life in Cluj-Napoca.

Unfolded, this side of the map gives you lists of places to visit and things you can do, with numbered locations you can find on the map on the flipside.

Route 1: Best in Cluj

For those of you who have a limited time to spend in the heart of the city, but still want to achieve a unique travel experience, there’s an absolutely special street, one of the oldest in the city, which dates back to medieval times.

Route 2: Young in Cluj

Cluj, offers youngsters a large variety of activities, attractions and dynamic ways in which they can discover another side of the city, a young, friendly modern and playful one. Along with pub-crawls, wild parties, cultural activities or urban sightseeing, Cluj offers its young visitors the chance to relax, disconnect and practice some sports

Route 3: Life in Communism Paradise

Starting with the ‘50s, the city enters the communist era that will leave a huge mark on it until ‘89. With the changing mentality of the Bolshevik bourgeois, the city changes its appearance. Austere comfort conditions, Cartesian urbanism and simple aesthetics, bordering on poverty looks by the end of the period. Life (housing, work, leisure) became simple and gray.
